Ingredients
sugar
salt
carrot (optional)
flour
vegetable oil
note: There is no measurements in this chapati recipe. You just know. You have to taste (to satisfaction) the salt/sugar ratio. Initial water quantity will determine how many chapatis you are making
Steps
pour water in a mixing bowl, add salt and sugar (add shredded carrots)
gradually add flour and oil while mixing with hands. knead until it becomes smooth and elastic (finger poke test)
make small balls
roll until flat desired thickness
in a frying pan warm the vegetable oil
cook chapati by rotating it on the pan, brush oil, and flip with a spoon
